About the Opportunity Due to internal promotion, we are now seeking our next Plant Technology Manager to oversee and manage the IT operational technology environment. In this pivotal role you will ensure that all systems are up to date, fit for purpose, reliable, secure and efficient. As the bridge between operational technology (OT) and IT, you will ensure seamless integration, collaboration and alignment of technological goals with business objectives. Responsibilities include: - Oversee the implementation, maintenance and optimisation of IT operational technology systems across all business units, including multi-function devices and barcode scanners
- Ensure seamless integration between enterprise IT systems (ERP, CRM) and OT systems (SCADA, MES)
- Support the convergence of IT and OT environments to enable data-driven decision making and predictive maintenance strategies
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with operational and business objectives
- Develop and enforce technology standards, policies and procedures
- Participate in operational technology projects from conception to completion, ensuring timely delivery in adherence to defined standards and policies
- Implement robust cyber security measures to protect assets and data
- Conduct regular testing, auditing and assessments
About You While ideally you will bring similar experience from a manufacturing environment, what is vital is your natural ability to communicate and work effectively with multiple stakeholders and cross functional teams. You will also have: - Diploma or above in IT (ideal but not essential)
- A good understanding of networking, cyber security and general IT infrastructure
- Knowledge of manufacturing processes and related technology systems eg. SCADA, PLCs, MES (highly regarded)
- Previous experience with remote access systems
- Previous experience using InTune
- The ability to work with and support multiple sites across multiple time zones
