About The Opportunity Our Sales team contributes to the success of our business by driving revenue growth, acquiring new customers and maintaining strong relationships with existing key accounts. We are currently seeking a Key Accounts Manager to join our established team. Reporting to the Sales Manager, you will play a vital role by developing and maintaining profitable relationships with a range of key accounts including resellers and builders throughout NSW. While you will have autonomy in planning your days around client visits and working from home, you will also have the benefit of ongoing support from our Customer Service and Sales Support teams. Responsibilities include: - Plan and execute sales activities including cross-selling and up-selling to achieve new and repeat business targets
- Be a trusted advisor to clients, providing on-going support and assistance throughout the sales process
- Negotiate terms, pricing and contractors with clients
- Demonstrate the features, benefits and value propositions of products to clients
- Attend trade shows
- Provide quotes and related administration, and regular sales activity reports
- Liaise and collaborate with internal teams to ensure sales activity alignment and resolve client queries
- Attend quarterly Sales meetings at the St Marys office
About You You will be a motivated, resilient Sales professional, ideally with experience in the building products industry. Experience within doors is not a pre-requisite but your natural curiosity and your willingness to learn will help you to take advantage of our structured training and induction program, and to thrive in this varied, rewarding role. You will have: - A drive to succeed in both revenue growth and in providing an outstanding client experience
- Excellent communication and relationship building skills
- Outstanding consultative sales and negotiation skills
- A solutions-focussed approach when dealing with challenges
- Previous area/ territory sales or account management experience (building products industry preferred but not essential)
- Ability collaborate with other internal teams
- A current driver’s licence
