About the Opportunity As our new SAP Product Configuration Specialist, you will be responsible for translating and maintaining product-related business data in our SAP ERP environment. This data integrity maintenance is crucial in ensuring accurate financial reporting, correct product specifications for sales estimation and manufacturing. You will work with stakeholders across the business to maintain data and configuration for the Configure, Price, Quote systems of the organisation and respond to ServiceNow tickets relating to BAU and project-based requests. Responsibilities include: - Work closely with key stakeholders to understand, implement, test and maintain BOM data for new and existing products
- Ensure quality, accuracy and confidentiality of product information
- Follow standardised processes and procedures to complete BAU activities
- Anticipate and assess the impact of changes to the business and technology environment on Product data
- Deliver timely, high quality and customer-focussed service to users
- Receive, assess and action ServiceNow requests to create, change or delete product data
- Ensure activities are conducted in accordance with compliance requirements and change management processes
About You While you don’t have to be an experienced SAP user to be considered for this role, we are ideally looking for people with previous product data experience within a manufacturing environment. What is vital however, is your attention to detail, your ability to follow processes and your ability to think outside the box. Your curious and persistent approach to problem solving and continuous improvement will also help you to thrive in this busy role. You will also bring: - Ability to accurately enter, analyse and manage large amounts of data
- Ability to complete complex tasks, break down issues and solutions into smaller tasks and look at problems from different angles
- Ability to understand the business’ products and processes and how the maintenance of product data relates to them
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to understand, classify and prioritise requests (eg using ITIL framework)
- Previous experience using ServiceNow (or similar)
