About our Opportunity As a valued member of our Bayswater branch, you will be responsible for ensuring that glass is ordered from vendors in time to meet production and service demands, and for liaising with vendors to rectify any quality issues. Key duties include: - Ensuring purchases are ordered in the required timeframes
- Ensuring glass stock levels are maintained
- Liaising with the Service team to coordinate larger client deliveries
- Communicating product issues with suppliers and working closely to rectify and improve quality and service
- Attending daily team meetings
- Assisting with general administration tasks
About you Ideally you will have previous purchasing experience in a manufacturing environment, along with a keenness to work as part of a small collaborative team. You will have well-developed communication and interpersonal skills which enable you to effectively build constructive relationships with colleagues and vendors alike. You will: - pride yourself on thoroughness and attention to detail
- be a systematic, methodical and process-orientated administrator
- have previous experience working with SAP (preferred but not essential)
- be proficient in MS Office (in particular Excel and Outlook)
- be able to commit to working Monday-Friday, 6.00am – 2.30pm (or similar)
