About our Opportunity

We have an opportunity for an experienced Inventory Administrator to join our team in Dandenong. Reporting to the Purchasing Supervisor, you will be responsible for the accurate and timely recording of all inventory movements and for maintaining stock integrity across all systems.

Typical tasks will include:

• Providing comprehensive administrative support to, and seamless communication with the Production Managers and their teams
• Accurately processing all inventory transactions (eg. receipts, transfers, adjustments, returns, discrepancies) in the ERP or warehouse management system
• Creating purchase orders and receipting goods
• Supporting daily, weekly and monthly stocktake activity and cycle counts
• Maintaining accurate records of all inventory movements and adjustments
• Collaborating with the warehouse, purchasing and production teams to ensure smooth inventory flow

About You

To thrive in this role you'll have previous production administration or purchasing experience in a production or manufacturing environment. You'll be a detail-oriented and proactive professional with:

• Demonstrated experience using ERP systems
• Previous experience of analysing and interpreting performance data
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities, maintain accurate records and meet deadlines
• Ability to build and maintain effective working relationships with internal and external stakeholders
• Qualification in inventory or purchasing (desirable but not essential.)
