About our Opportunity As our Cabinet Vision Draftsperson you're a crucial team member of our Victorian Shower Screen manufacturing operations team based at Rowville. Your primary focus will be to supply production breakdowns to the wardrobe department of the business. Your role is crucial and a cornerstone for our ability to meet our customer expectations - delivering on time, in full and as ordered. Duties involve, but not limited to: - Accurate and timely processing of CAD plans/drawings utilising Cabinet Vision software
- Discern work that needs to be processed on the CNC Machinery and perform nested optimisation using HOMAG CutRite Modular software
- Ability to comprehend and alter 2-dimensional CAM programs for wardrobe shelving components.
- Production & Inventory planning to order materials and hardware required for production and schedule accordingly.
- Provide technical support and guidance to our production team
About You You will bring experience in the design and/or cabinet-making industry or production experience making cabinets or kitchens along with reading plans and drawings working with Cabinet Vision or Cabmaster. Sound working knowledge of CNC machinery (HOMAG), along with knowledge of joinery materials, allowances, finishes and specifications to prepare drawings and set out jobs providing accurate detailed cutting lists for production. You need to be a lateral thicker, able to demonstrate the ability to absorb technical information and learn new systems and processes. This position requires you to be: - Trade qualified or a related engineering discipline
- Knowledge of HOMAG machines including CutRite V11 & WoodWOP 7 software
- Organised, systematic and process-orientated
- Precise attention to detail and ability to question incomplete or inaccurate information
- Productive & efficient with time and able to juggle multiple tasks and prioritise in a fast-paced environment
- Willing to support the team where required to service our customers
- Available Full-time Mon-Fri 6 am - 2:30 pm
