Glazier - Product Measure & Service Technician (TC)

Trayne Consulting is currently recruiting an experienced and detail-oriented Product Measure & Service Technician on behalf of our national client.

 

Reporting to the Logistics Manager, this role plays a key part in ensuring accurate on-site measurements and providing expert servicing and rectification of glazing products including windows and shower screens.

 

We are specifically seeking a candidate who holds a Qualified Supervisor Certificate – Glass and Glazing (NSW) and is comfortable being named as the licensed supervisor for our client’s business in NSW.

 

With a home base in Prestons, NSW, you will be  servicing clients across Greater Sydney, the Southern Highlands, and the Illawarra region.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Accurately measure products for custom fabrication

  • Service, rework, troubleshoot, and complete warranty rectifications on glazing products

  • Oversee and troubleshoot installation and performance issues promptly

  • Load and plan daily jobs; manage time effectively across multiple sites

  • Communicate with customers to schedule and confirm work

  • Ensure all work meets high standards of quality, presentation, and compliance

  • Maintain safety standards and uphold Zero Harm principles

Requirements:

  • Qualified Supervisor Certificate – Glass & Glazing (NSW) — essential (must be willing to be named on the client’s licence)

  • Certificate III in Glass & Glazing (minimum qualification)

  • Strong technical and problem-solving skills; supervisory experience highly regarded

  • Proficient with industry tools including levels and tape measures

  • Excellent communication and customer service skills

  • Full Australian driver’s licence & Construction White Card

  • Willingness to undergo police check, medical assessment, and drug/alcohol screening

  • Ability to safely lift and manage products up to 20kg
