About our Opportunity We're looking for an enthusiastic and customer focused Sales Representative servicing Sydney Metro managing our reseller channel, supporting key customers like Bunnings, Mitre 10 etc. The role will see you predominantly on road, as you engage with the current and prospective customers, canvasing and closing new business opportunities. Confident and able to naturally engage and build rapport, you will be at ease in your consultative selling approach to develop and maintain customer relationships by offering hands on support. In addition, you’ll: - plan and execute selling activities
- track and manage sales pipeline, including lead generation, prospecting, qualification, and follow-up, to ensure consistent progress and timely closure of sales opportunities
- conduct needs assessments
- demonstrate features, benefits and value propositions of products or services through presentations, product demos and other sales collateral
- negotiate terms, pricing and contracts with customers to secure sales
- prepare monthly selling activity reports including performance metrics and pipeline status
- maintain accurate up-to-date customer information, interactions and sales activities in our in-house CRM tracking progress and facilitate future follow-ups
About You We’re looking for a self-motivated sales professional with a strong service ethos who thrives in taking the lead in managing their own work schedule. Experience within the building industry with established relationships with builders, resellers and distributers is essential to being considered for this opportunity. Leveraging your ability to build positive relationships, your capability to work through and problem solve, and your negotiation skills are key to this role. You will diligently plan, organise and carryout selling activities that will enable you to exceed your sales targets.
