About our Opportunity As our new Internal Sales Representative, you will help drive revenue growth by liaising with and servicing a portfolio of existing clients while actively approaching and engaging with previous clients. Drawing on our reputation for quality products and our commitment to providing quality customer experiences, you will build and maintain positive relationships with customers through regular communication and follow-ups. Responsibilities include: - Proactively contacting existing customers to maintain existing relationships and understand their needs
- Proactively contacting previous customers to re-establish relationships and understand their needs
- Advising customers of suitable products and services based on their requirements
- Providing and following up on quotes
- Negotiating terms, pricing and contracts with customers
- Offering on-going customer support to customers throughout the sales process.

About You While previous sales experience within the building supplies industry would be an advantage, it’s by no means essential. What will be essential to your success will be your customer service and relationship building skills, your ability to learn from and work as part of a team, and your commitment to developing a career in sales. In addition, you will bring: - Previous sales or customer service and administration experience
- Ability to learn new products, processes and systems
- Ability to listen to customers, understand their needs and offer suitable solutions
- Experience using MS Excel and Outlook
- Excellent spoken and written communication skills.
