About The Opportunity As Continuous Improvement Manager, you will be responsible for driving enterprise-wide operational excellence though the strategic use of data analytics, automation and digital solutions. You will partner with multiple stakeholders to understand and map business processes, identify improvement opportunities, and then apply technologies to automate and streamline them in order to improve efficiency, productivity and decision-making. You will: - Execute on operational excellence strategy with a strong emphasis on analytics and automation
- Use data-driven insights and structured problem-solving approaches to identify, analyse and prioritise opportunities for process improvement
- Partner with cross-functional teams to define requirements, design solutions and implement technology-enabled improvements
- Support stakeholders in improvement implementations (eg workshops, general consultation)
- Design, develop and optimise reporting and data models to provide actionable insights that support operational and strategic decision-making
- Leverage modern data visualisation tools to improve transparency, performance monitoring and management reporting
- Use Microsoft 365 and Power Platform tools to digitise workflows, automate processes and enable self-service analytics
- Write CAPEX and business cases
About You You will have an engineering degree (preferably Electrical or Controls) with at least five years’ experience in an engineering or manufacturing environment and a demonstrable knowledge of Lean and Continuous Improvement methodologies. While your natural interest in process improvement technologies will be vital to your success in this role, so too will be your consultative approach to stakeholder engagement and change management. You will also have: - Experience in Power BI, Business Analytics, AI, Microsoft Power Apps or similar
- Basic knowledge/ experience of control systems, PLCs, robotics and automation
- The ability to collaborate with, motivate, coach and mentor indirect staff
- The ability to be autonomous and take ownership for driving an improvement strategy
- A proven track record of implementing best practice and digitalising operational workflows
- A strong analytical mindset with the ability to translate data into meaningful insights and actions
- Excellent spoken and written communication skills
