About Our Opportunity

We’re looking for a detail-oriented Purchasing Officer to join our Rowville team. Reporting to the Operations Manager, you’ll be responsible for ensuring the timely and cost-effective procurement of materials to support our manufacturing operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage daily and cyclical purchasing activities
• Maintain optimal inventory levels to balance supply risk and customer demand
• Use ERP and Excel for purchasing and reporting
• Coordinate vendor onboarding and manage supplier relationships
• Support national procurement strategies and operational goals
• Ensure compliance with company policies and environmental standards
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure timely deliveries

About You

• Experience in purchasing, procurement, or supply chain (highly desirable)
• Strong Excel and ERP system skills
• Excellent communication, numeracy, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and in a team
• Willingness to learn technical product and system knowledge
• Financial acumen and sound decision-making
• Stakeholder management and planning capabilities
