• Previous experience with remote access systems
• Previous experience using InTune
• The ability to work with and support multiple sites across multiple time zones

VENTORA Glass QLD, part of the VENTORA Group operates a site in Stapylton which houses a range of processes including cutting, finishing, heat treatment and coating glass for a range of customers using both semi and fully automatic machinery. The site has approximately 100 employees over 3 shifts.

About our Opportunity

As our new Internal Sales Representative, you will help drive revenue growth by liaising with and servicing a portfolio of existing clients while actively approaching and engaging with previous clients. Drawing on our reputation for quality products and our commitment to providing quality customer experiences, you will build and maintain positive relationships with customers through regular communication and follow-ups.

Responsibilities include:

• Proactively contacting existing customers to maintain existing relationships and understand their needs
• Proactively contacting previous customers to re-establish relationships and understand their needs
• Advising customers of suitable products and services based on their requirements
• Providing and following up on quotes
• Negotiating terms, pricing and contracts with customers
• Offering on-going customer support to customers throughout the sales process.

With our excellent reputation within the industry and a portfolio of existing clients to inherit, this role could be ideal for people who are looking to either start or develop their career in consultative sales.

About You 

While previous sales experience within the building supplies industry would be an advantage, it’s by no means essential. What will be essential to your success will be your customer service and relationship building skills, your ability to learn from and work as part of a team, and your commitment to developing a career in sales. 

In addition, you will bring: 

• Previous sales or customer service and administration experience
• Ability to learn new products, processes and systems
• Ability to listen to customers, understand their needs and offer suitable solutions
• Experience using MS Excel and Outlook
• Excellent spoken and written communication skills.

Duties involve:

• Assisting with fitting sashes and door panels
• Site glazing
• Frame Assembly/Install
• Assisting with maintenance of Windows and Doors  
• Customer Interaction
• Monday to Friday plus occasional overtime
• May be asked to participate in working from heights course

You can demonstrate:

• Understanding of safe work practices and procedures
• Ability to lift up to 35kg
• Professional and courteous mannerisms when dealing with customers and coworkers alike
• Maintain a high level of professional dress and grooming
• Comfort climbing ladders and working at heights
